Academic Personnel Office

The is committed to leading and serving ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï’s diverse and internationally renowned academic community. Office staff provide support for faculty appointments and development, merit reviews and promotions, leaves of absence, fellowships, and more. The office handles employment matters for all academic employees — from faculty and lecturers to adjunct professors and librarians — and is a great resource for navigating ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï policies and processes.

Research Computing

buoys the talent and research of UC Riverside’s acclaimed faculty members and outstanding graduate and undergraduate students through powerful onsite and offsite computing resources, support, consulting, and training. Their work is supported by partnerships and collaborations with various areas of campus, including: the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Library, Bourns College of Engineering, College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences, School of Medicine, Office of Research and Economic Development, and ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Research IT Leaders. Through a recent ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï is modernizing its technology services, increasing campus computing and storage capacity — and saving our researchers both time and money.

School of Business opens new building
UC Riverside’s School of Business opened its new building in late September, launching a new era at a state-of-the-art facility with increased space to meet fast-growing enrollment. The four-story, 63,400-square-foot building was already bustling with activity, with students filling its auditorium, classrooms, and the lounge area near its café following the start of instruction on Sept. 26. A ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house celebration will be held Oct. 18.

Excelencia in Education, the nation’s premier authority on efforts accelerating Latino student success in higher education, announced this week UC Riverside has been recertified with the Seal of Excelencia for 2024-27. ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï received its first three-year recognition in 2021.

ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï to celebrate construction start of major instructional building
UC Riverside will celebrate the start of construction for a major student instructional building with a groundbreaking ceremony for the Undergraduate Teaching and Learning Facility on Friday, Oct. 4. The project continues ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï’s efforts to provide much-needed classroom, laboratory, and studio space, particularly for high-demand undergraduate courses.
